Hi, I'm Spixs. I am a costume maker, technology teacher and all-round crafter. I am passionate about sustainable fashion and eco-friendly clothing, fuelled by my reaction in the last few years whenever I walked into a clothes shop; all I could see was future waste...

My journey began with the vision of reimagining second-hand clothing through ice-dye and surface decoration techniques to help reduce this waste and allow customers to see a new life for their items.

I offer a diverse range of products, including clothing, bamboo hair accessories, socks, bibs, and scarves, all lovingly crafted and chosen to reduce environmental impact.

feeling the need for change

At Kaleidospixs, my focus on sustainable materials and ethical practices reflects my passion and drive in reducing the fashion industry's ecological footprint.

I am dedicated to producing clothing and accessories that are not only fun to wear but also reduce the guilt tied to fast fashion.

so what do i actually do?

I source second chance clothing and new, unwanted pieces from online platforms and charity shops, breathing new life into them with bold and vibrant colours.

All new items I craft are made from eco-friendly bamboo, including soft towelling and breathable jersey. These sustainable alternatives to traditional cotton and synthetic fibres not only offer comfort but also contribute to a greener planet.

Any new items required (such as socks), I carefully select based on fibre content. My mission is to continuously seek out new suppliers, enhancing the overall sustainability of my products and making sure every purchase reflects a commitment to a better future.

All labels and packaging are created from recycled / upcycled materials. If there is an old label on an item that no longer matches my brand, it is not replaced - please embrace it as a symbol of my journey!
